CORK have four referees in the hurling and football panels for the summer’s championship.

Conor Lane is the sole member of the football group and the Banteer official, who handled the 2018 and 2016 All-Ireland senior finals, can look forward to more high-profile games.

In hurling, there’s a welcome return of Nemo Rangers’ Colm Lyons, who missed last summer due to injury, and Cathal McAllister (Aghada), who is back in the fold.

Lyons found himself at the centre of Tipperary boss Liam Sheedy’s ire earlier in the year following his dismissal of Noel McGrath in a league game in Wexford.

McAllister, like Lyons is an experienced official, having handled a Tipp-Kilkenny All-Ireland semi-final in 2012.

The fourth member is Nathan Wall (Ballincollig), who will again handle games in the Christy Ring, Nicky Rackard and Lory Meagher cup competitions.
