MARK WHITE: MADE a few excellent saves, using his size and agility effectively. 7

KEVIN O'DONOVAN: As he did in the Kerry game off the bench, the Nemo native was tenacious and dogged his man relentlessly. 7

JAMES LOUGHREY: Followed up on the Munster final with another rock-solid display. Covered huge ground on the counter as well. 7

KEVIN FLAHIVE: Ended up having to mark the towering Donie Kingston. He'd hands full there but still battled throughout. 6

LIAM O’DONOVAN: Ripped the Laois rearguard wide open with his piercing runs. He also spoiled numerous drives down his flank and one of those turnovers led to Kerrigan's goal. 8

THOMAS CLANCY: Missed the Munster final through injury, while he wasn't prominent his heft and experience were important. 6

MATTIE TAYLOR: Blinding pace. Like O'Donovan his movement was too much for Laois to handle. Could have had a few goals if the ball was popped to him on time. 7

KILLIAN O’HANLON: Taken out of it with a late hit that could have been red. Had just started to make an impact too. 6

IAN MAGUIRE: The dominant force at midfield. Showed huge leadership in the early stages when Laois were motoring by breaking a number of kick-outs. Used the ball excellently on the run and with the foot. 8

SEÁN WHITE: Same as the Munster final, he was out the field, not as a sweeper but a link-man. Suits him. 7

RUAIRÍ DEANE: All-Star form at this stage, with his third excellent game in succession. Assisted five of Cork's 12 first-half points and scored one. Added another after the break. 8

BRIAN HURLEY: Cork fed him the supply of ball he never got in the Munster final and reaped an incredible reward. Taken off after 52 minutes with the game wrapped up, he scored 2-4 from play assisted another 1-2 for Mark Collins. Some partnership! 9

MARK COLLINS: Like Hurley, he was unmarkable. Shot 1-4 and was fouled for one of the frees he expertly converted. Really thriving as a finisher but his football intelligence shines through as well. 8

SUBS: Ronan O'Toole 8, Paul Kerrigan 8, Michael Hurley 6, Tomás Clancy 6, Aidan Browne 6, Steven Sherlock 7, Stephen Cronin 6.
