ROY Keane might be out of coaching since leaving his position with Nottingham Forrest but the Leeside legend will still be generating headlines after signing with Sky Sports.

The former Man United midfielder recently featured on a popular Off the Ball podcast with Gary Neville and the pair will now be central to Sky Sports soccer coverage for the rest of the season.

Jose Mourinho, Graeme Souness, Jamie Carragher and Jamie Redknapp are the other high-profile pundits on board as Sky Sports show 128 live Premier League games.

Keane will be on duty this Sunday for the Chelsea-Liverpool main event.

The Mayfield man is quoted on the Sky Sports website: "I've worked with Sky Sports quite a few times over the years and it's always been an experience I've enjoyed, so this makes absolute sense. While I'm not coaching I still want to be involved in the game and in some ways, this is the next best thing.

"It's a game of opinions, I've never shied away from giving mine and that's only going to continue this season. Sky Sports has always been famous for the heated debates - I look forward to starting a few more."
