IT'S Cork against Tipperary and Limerick in the semi-finals of the Clayton Hotels sponsored Munster Schools Senior Cup.

Rockwell College and St Munchin's progressed from their mid-week quarter-finals following wins over Crescent College Comprehensive and Castletroy College respectively.

Holders CBC, who top the roll-of-honour with 30 titles, are first up against Rockwell at Musgrave Park on Tuesday week at 2.30pm.

The Cashel school brought their points tally in the campaign to an awesome 112 from three games after a surprisingly comfortable 28-5 victory over Crescent.

Rockwell, who've already played twice on the 3G pitch, showed again what their strong running back line is capable of producing given the opportunities.

Christians crossed four times in their 32-21 win over Castletroy in their lone outing in the up.

PBC, who are aiming to atone for last season's loss to Christians in the decider, meet St Munchin's, also at Musgrave Park, on Wednesday week, kick-off 2pm.

The Limerick school won a seven-try 27-24 thriller against Castletroy, surviving a late fight-back after St Munchin's stormed 27-10 clear.

Out-half Alex Wood, son of former Ireland captain, Keith, is a key figure for the Shannonsiders, who won the junior cup a couple of years ago, defeating Pres in the semi-final and Christians in the decider.

Pres qualified by overcoming Crescent 21-8 in their quarter-final.

In the junior cup, Pres travel to play St Munchin's in the last-eight at Market's Field on Tuesday week at 2.30pm.
