CORK's Graham Boylan, who owns Cage Warriors, Europe’s leading MMA promotion and home to former champion Conor McGregor, will stage a huge night of fight action at the SSE Arena Belfast for the very first time on May 16th.

Belfast is home to some of the most elite fighters on the European MMA scene, such as top Cage Warriors name Rhys McKee.

Cage Warriors will visit Belfast on May 16th with many of Northern Ireland’s best talent on show, bringing their high-octane live atmosphere to the SSE Arena.

Cage Warriors is an Irish-owned promotion which launched the careers of former champions Conor McGregor, Michael Bisping, Dan Hardy and numerous other athletes who went on to become global UFC superstars.

Todate, 94 Cage Warrior athletes have gone on to fight in the UFC.

In addition to the May event, Cage Warriors will host a second Belfast card on September 26th and also return to Cork's Neptune Stadium on July 25th after the massive success of CW110.

Cage Warriors president Graham Boylan is thrilled to be back hosting shows in Ireland.

“We want to thank everyone in the Irish MMA community for welcoming us back home last year," Graham Boylan said.

“A sell-out for our return to Ireland at CW110 in Cork proved that the demand for MMA is huge in the country, and that fans want more of Cage Warriors.

"The show in Neptune was a huge success.

"It was sold-out early and the fights on the night were exceptional.

"All the international and local fighters spoke highly of the experience and they want more.

"Fighting in front of an Irish crowd is a great experience.

"They are a very knowledgeable audience and appreciate what the fighters are doing in the cage.

"They get behind their own man or woman, but they show great appreciation for great fights and the fighters recognise this and want to come back and fight for them again.

“So, it’s only right that we put more shows in place not just for the fans, but for Irish fighters wanting a proven platform to develop and showcase their skills to the world.”

May 16th is the date for fight fans in Northern Ireland!
