PÁIRC Uí Chaoimh will host two hurling and four football league games in 2020, with the GAA confirming the fixture list for next season.

The hurling league has been altered and divided into two equal divisions instead of a top tier, which pits Kieran Kingston's charges against Tipp and Limerick on home turf and sends them away to Waterford, Westmeath and Galway.

The Cork hurlers are notoriously erratic in the spring but we can expect a more focused outfit this time out as they aim to build consistency to carry into the Munster series.

The footballers will be gunning for promotion from Division 3. Otherwise Ronan McCarthy's side will be dropped into the new lower-level All-Ireland if they're beaten by Kerry in the Munster semi-final.

The fixture list is favourable, starting with Offaly in the Páirc on Saturday, January 25. They also host Down and Derry, which would have tricky away ties, and Louth.

The Rebels are away to Leitrim, Tipperary and Longford in the last game, on March 22.

The league finals in both codes have been brought forward which will facilitate a round of club games in the revamped round-robin series on Leeside in April.

The hurlers' championship opener is at home to Limerick on Sunday, May 10 while the Cork-Kerry clash in the Páirc is two weeks later.
