Talking points from the Cork footballers' Division 3 victory over Derry

1. Cork's poor game management: 

IT happened in the previous outing against Tipperary and for no apparent reason Cork allowed a well-beaten Derry back into a game in which they had no right to be in with a shout of a result.

2. Goals:

CORK collected three for the second successive game with John O'Rourke emulating Luke Connolly's pair against Tipp after Damien Gore (below) claimed the first following a poor Derry kick-out.

Squad: 

RUAIRÍ Deane cried off on Thursday night with a slight niggle and then Luke Connolly and Liam O'Donovan limped out of the action in the first-half. But Cork more than coped with U20 star from last year, Cathail O'Mahony, chipping in with 0-4.
