Cork City unveil new red away kit ahead of Shamrock Rovers clash
Cork City's new kit

CORK CITY are looking to the past as they launch their new change strip today.

The Rebel Army will be clad in red on their travels this season, beginning with tomorrow night’s trip to face Shamrock Rovers.

Inspiration from the kit, produced by adidas, comes from the infamous ‘pigeon droppings’ shirt worn by the club in 1991.

The gold and black third kit worn last season will be retained for the current campaign.

The picture shows Cork City players Dylan McGlade, Joseph Olowu and Dáire O’Connor model the new change strip. It will be available to buy from next month.
