Some of the highlights of another epic weekend of hurling on Leeside. And we’re really down to the business end of the championship, the semi-final pairings now set across the five tiers.
Blackrock are now fancied to progress to their first decider since losing to Imokilly in 2017, as their power, size and spread of scorers was enough against Douglas.
Blarney looked dead and buried in their PIHC quarter-final with 52 minutes on the clock but they outscored the Collig by 2-4, Declan Hanlon and Patrick Crowley with the goals before Pádraig Power sent them into a semi-final against Carrigaline with a late point.
There are some hugely attractive semi-finals on the horizon, including Fr O’Neill’s versus Newcestown and Charleville taking on Kanturk in the SAHC.
Again, there is no obvious favourite from this crop.
