FIVE Cork players have been included in Stephen Kenny's Ireland squad to face Slovakia in next week's Euro 2020 play-off and the Nations League games that follow against Wales and Finland.
Goalkeeper Caoimhín Kelleher, defender John Egan, midfielders Conor Hourihane and Alan Browne and young striker Adam Idah have been selected, with Tipp native and former Cork City forward Shane Long also involved.
Seanie Maguire, another ex-City star, doesn't feature, while there's no place either for Leeside's Kevin Long.
The squad will assemble in Dublin this Sunday and train at the FAI’s National Training Centre in Abbotstown before flying to Slovakia on Tuesday.
