CORK and Waterford in a hurling semi-final at Semple Stadium on Halloween, followed by Cork versus Kerry in the football a week later are the major games for Leesiders on the horizon as the Munster fixture list was confirmed.
The county's minor and U20 hurlers will be first up though, Donal Óg Cusack's minor side facing Clare on Saturday, October 17 in Semple Stadium, with Pat Ryan's U20 team away to Kerry two days later.
Home and away arrangements remain in place for senior and minor football and U20 hurling but for senior and minor hurling, after two seasons of round-robin action, neutral venues apply for 2020.
That means the minor footballers, with a handful of last year's All-Ireland winning panel available, are away to Kerry on Saturday, November 7, the day before the seniors host the Kingdom in the Páirc.
As the minor hurlers are out first, the Rebel Óg Championships were concluded last week but the football competitions are ongoing, with the finals slated for next week.
All Munster fixtures this winter require a result on the day, though there is a second chance via the All-Ireland qualifiers for the hurling counties that didn't lift the provincial crown.
Ronan McCarthy's footballers are guaranteed three games though, with two league matches to complete the Division 3 campaign in preparation for the Kerry clash.
All fixture details are subject to change in line with Covid-19 related developments in advance of each fixture.
