A Garda investigation has been launched following the death of a man aged in his early 50s in Fermoy.
A Garda investigation has been launched following the death of a man aged in his early 50s in Fermoy.
A Garda spokesperson said the man was yesterday found dead in a house in Fermoy and that his body has been removed to Cork University Hospital where a post-mortem will be conducted by Dr Margaret Bolster, Office of the State Pathologist.
The spokesperson said that the outcome of the post-mortem examination "will assist Gardaí in determining the course of their investigations".
