Cork City Fire Brigade respond to house fire on Cork's northside

Emergency services have dealt with a house fire this evening in The Glen area of Cork city.
Crews from both Anglesea Street and Ballyvolane fire stations responded to deal with the house fire shortly after 5pm.
The blaze was being extinguished by firefighters with the use of breathing apparatus and hose reels.
Members of the public have been urged to take care in the area as smoke may impede viability as a result.
