The southbound bore of the Jack Lynch tunnel on the N40 has re-opened following an earlier incident.
The route was closed for a period “due to an overheight vehicle”.
Motorists had been advised to use the N8 (Lower Glanmire Road) if possible as an alternative.
It has now been confirmed that the southbound bore of the tunnel has once again opened to traffic.
