Man treated for serious injuries after incident on Cork's northside overnight

Gardaí are investigating an incident of assault which occurred in the Hollyhill area in the early hours of this morning.
A man aged in his 20s has been taken to Cork University Hospital to be treated for serious injuries.
Gardaí have said that this investigation is ongoing and no further information is available at this time.
