Three people have been taken to hospital following a two-vehicle collision in Mallow.

The crash occurred on Navigation Road at around 10 am on Thursday.

Three individuals have been conveyed to Cork University Hospital for treatment of injuries sustained as a result of the incident.

Gardaí and emergency services are currently attending the scene and the road has currently been closed.

Local diversions are in place while emergency services attend the scene.
