Christmas carols in aid of hospital

A Celebration of Christmas has been organised by the Friends of the South Infirmary Victoria University Hospital.

It takes place on Sunday at 7.30pm at The Church of the Immaculate Conception at The Lough.

The Cork Garda Choir, the Cork Prison Officers Choir, the Wilcollane Singers, The Bravura Quarter and the Presentation Choir Ballyphehane are all performing.

Sponsored by Ryan's SuperValu the concert is free but donations will be accepted on the night for the SIVUH.

The funds raised will go the hospital which is the regional centre for Ear, Nose & Throat including major head and neck cancers, the Sexual Assault Treatment Unit. elective orthopaedic surgery including paediatric orthopaedic service, chronic pain and dermatology
