THERE are just six days left for a Christmas millionaire to claim their winnings from the National Lottery.
In less than a week, the ticket, which was sold at the Topaz service station on Lower Tivoli Road, becomes null and void.
The lucky ticket for the Christmas Millionaire raffle was sold on December 21, with lotto staff and employees at the service station speculating that it may have been a last-minute Christmas present.
Staff at the service station are keeping their fingers crossed that the winner will be found.
While the busy station sees a lot of passing trade, many of their regular customers play the lotto too.
However, hopes are starting to fade that the winner of the €1 million prize will be found before the 90-day deadline elapses next Friday, March 31.
Michael Hayes, head of marketing with the National Lottery, said, "Millionaire Raffle tickets are a popular gift at Christmas time so we would appeal to all of those who may have bought a ticket as a gift or who may have received a ticket from a loved one to check their tickets for a chance of claiming a life-changing prize of €1 million."
Mr Hayes reminded all players to double-check their tickets to see if their's is the winner - number 179740.
