Cork Tango Festival marks its tenth anniversary next month

THE Cork Argentinian Tango Society will celebrate the tenth anniversary of the Cork Tango Festival next month.

Tango is part of the world's Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity, it is passion and music that takes your soul.

From Thursday, April 6 to Sunday, April 9 dancing, workshops and international standard performances will take place at the Metropole Hotel on MacCurtain Street.

Guests will come from various countries for three days and four nights of world-class tango. The international teachers Martin Maldonado and Maurizio Ghella, Marcelo Ramer and Selva Mastroti, Pablo Daniel Martinez and Veronica Rue are going to shine on the River Lee.

Captivating tango music will be chosen by Enrique Lora Ringa, Johan Steyn, as well as by Pablo and Veronica. Complete your weekend experience with T’ai Chi and Feldenkrais Classes to add energy and balance to your steps.
