A SYNDICATE in the Barry Group in Mallow is believed to have won the latest Euromillions prize. 

Foley’s Foodstore in Ballydaheen, outside Mallow, sold the ticket, last Friday, July 7, which is worth €369,210.

It's understood that a number of colleagues in the Mallow-based Barry Group, one of the country's leading wholesalers, scooped the prize. 

They matched five numbers and one lucky star in Tuesday night’s draw, meaning that it was just one lucky star away from hitting the €17 million jackpot.
