Marvel comics artist draws McGregor flooring Mayweather in Ali-style depiction
The Ballycotton artist, who works for Marvel comic books, has produced a stunning illustration of The Notorious standing over a fallen Mayweather.
His artwork carries an adapted version of the great Muhammad Ali quote, saying: “Float like a butterfly, Sting like a bee, Precision beats power, timing beats speed.”
Sliney, who has been working for Marvel comic books in recent years on some of their biggest projects, said the drawing was “just for fun” after people on social media asked if they could buy a copy.
McGregor versus Mayweather is being billed as one of the biggest fights in years with the mixed martial arts star taking on the undefeated boxing champ on August 26.
