Cork man missing in Thailand
A search operation is underway for an Irishman who went missing in Thailand four days ago. Anthony O'Sullivan, who is from Mitchelstown in Cork, was in Bangkok city when he went missing.

A SEARCH is underway in Thailand for a Corkman who’s been missing for around four days.

Anthony O’Sullivan from Mitchelstown was in Bangkok when he disappeared.

The Department of Foreign Affairs has confirmed they are aware of the situation and are offering help to Mr O’Sullivan’s family.

This is one of 3 searches underway on three continents for missing Irish people.

26-year-old David Higgins from Kerry is among three other kayakers still missing in Ecuador.

Another member of the group, Alex McGourty died after getting into difficulty following a flash flood in the river Abanico, in the south-east of the country.

A search is also continuing in Vienna, Austria for 21-year-old Ross Hanlon from Athboy in County Meath who was last seen on Friday.
