Former UCC student injured in Spanish crash
UCC graduate Louise Lynch was seriously injured in Spain.

A former UCC student has been critically injured in a car crash in Spain and is currently receiving treatment for her injuries in Badajoz, Spain.

Louise was living in Spain, teaching English to primary school children, when she was injured in a horrific car accident in Badajoz in South West Spain on 24 February. She was a passenger in the car at the time.

The young graduate is now in a critical condition with serious internal injuries; cranial and abdominal injuries with many fractured bones.

Louise, (21), is originally from Killarney and is the eldest of three in her family.

Her parents Seamus and Nora Lynch have travelled to Spain to be with Louise while she is receiving treatment in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) and have set up a gofundme page so people can donate to help their daughter with her ongoing medical expenses.
