MORE than 3,000 world-class singers were in Cork at the weekend as the Cork Choral Festival continues to wow audiences at events across the city and county.

The festival saw events take place in libraries, local bars, County Hall, City Hall and Fota House.

The Big Sing took place in City Hall where members of the public come along to learn how to sing together as part of a choir.

It was followed by the Fleishmann International Gala concerts.

The festival finished on Sunday with the Closing Gala Concert at City Hall.
