CORK Simon are looking for support this month and all they are asking the public to do is have a cuppa.

Organise a Cork Simon Coffee Morning anytime during the month of March and raise badly-needed funds to support the work of this long-standing local charity.

Cork Simon have been in operation in Cork since 1971 and currently support more than 1,000 people each year.

Coffee mornings can be held in workplaces, schools or anywhere else you want to gather with with friends, family or colleagues.

Anyone interested in hosting an event can register at www.corksimon.ie/coffeemorning. Cork Simon will send out a pack with everything you need to organise your gathering.

If you want to shake things up you can add an extra element, make it a bake-off, games morning or themed event.

The charity offers a number of ways to return the money raised, whatever is easiest for the organiser.

The money raised will help support their round-the-clock homeless services. Anyone with queries can email coffeemorning@corksimon.ie or call them at 021 4321166.
