Services returning to normal but tidal flood warnings remain

Following a review it has been identified that the risk from the recent Severe Weather event has been substantially lessened.

The majority of bus services are operating in Cork. 

The Cork City Local Co-Ordination Centre was stood down at 6pm yesterday.

Tidal warnings remain in place for the Morisson's Island area.

As part of this process Cork City Council's emergency number 1800 28 30 34 is no longer in use. Members of the public who need to contact Cork City Council outside of office hours, are advised to ring (021) 4966512.

Met Eireann released a Status Orange Snow-ice Warning for Munster, Leinster, Cavan and Monaghan advising that widespread lying snow and ice continue to lead to hazardous conditions. This weather warning is valid from Saturday 03 March 16.00hrs to Sunday 04 March 12.00hrs.
