SPECIAL late night buses will bring Christmas revellers from the city centre to suburban areas this weekend.
The buses will run from the city centre to Carrigaline, Ballincollig, Blarney and Midleton at 1am, 2am and 3am on Friday and Saturday nights.
Bus Éireann has also announced other Christmas bus services for the city.
The annual Christmas County Hall Park & Ride in Cork is operating this Saturday and Sunday.
Adult Return tickets cost €3 or Family €5.
The service operates every 15 minutes - Saturday from 09.30 to 20.30 and Sundays from 10.30 to 20.30 (last service is 20.30 on 23rd December).
The Black Ash Park & Ride, operating between Black Ash and the City Centre will run every day (including Sunday) until Christmas Eve (last service is 18.10 from the City Centre).
On Christmas Eve, all city and commuter/rural services nationwide will run until 9pm, and in some cases, up to 10pm. There will be no services on Christmas Day.
City and commuter services will operate to a Sunday timetable on both Bank Holidays of December 26th and January 1st, while a full timetable schedule will operate from January 27 to 30th inclusive.
The late night Blarney service will depart from outside Easons on Patrick's Street and will serve Blackpool, Churchfield, Farranree, Killeens and travel onward via Blarney to Cloghroe.
The Carrigaline service departs from outside Brown Thomas and serves Douglas East Village and Maryborough Hill.
The Ballincollig service leaves from outside Debenhams and serves Bishopstown Road, Curraheen Road and Melbourne Road.
The Midleton service departs from outside The Savoy and serves Dillons Cross, Mayfield, Glanmire, Glounthaune and Carrigtwohill.
Late night Bus Éireann services will operate at regular fare prices. Customers can pay on board — all pre-paid Leap Card and monthly tickets are also valid for journeys, along with free travel passes.
