Nathan Carter the latest addition to Live at the Marquee

NATHAN Carter is set to make his return to Cork next summer.

The country star will perform at Live at the Marquee on Friday, June 14.

Tickets for this date go on sale this Tuesday 18 December at 9am from Ticketmaster and usual outlets.

Nathan has just returned from his second North American tour which saw him play 9 cities including Chicago, Boston, Sacramento and Philadelphia.

Last month, he released his autobiography ‘Born For the Road’ and his new album of the same name, which features 16 new recordings including the hit singles including `There You Are` ‘Give It To Me’ and ‘Winnie O’Neill’, is now available.

He joins a busy line-up at Live at the Marquee next summer.

Already announced are Toto (June 15), Versatile (June 21), Tash Sultana (July 3), Tommy Tiernan (July 4), Christy Moore (July 6) and David Gray (July 7).

And, for keen music fans, there is even more to choose from elsewhere.

The concert season starts with Rod Stewart on May 25 in Páirc Ui Chaoimh, while Musgrave Park will host 

As well as Hozier, Musgrave Park will also see performances by George Ezra on June 20, Walking on Cars on June 21, the Coronas, with support from Sigrid, on June 22, and Hozier, with support from Maggie Rogers, on June 25.

Mitchelstown's Indiependence festival will take place from August 2 to 4, with Biffy Clyro, Bastille, Nothing But Thieves, All Tvvins, Hannah Wants, Disciples and Maxi Jazz among those lined up to perform.
