The latest concert announced for this summer’s Live At The Marquee will see four high-profile DJs take to the stage.
One Day, featuring Gorgon City, Sonny Fodera and special guest Duke Dumont, takes place on June 22. Tickets go on sale on Friday, priced from €35.
Gorgon City, which consists of English DJs Kye Gibbon and Matt Robson-Scott, has charted over 676 million combined streams to date. The duo recently released their brand-new ‘Escape’ album.
They previously performed in Cork in 2017, when they played City Hall as part of the MTV Crashes Cork event.
Joining them is Australian-born Sonny Fodera, who has 40 million streams on Spotify and Apple music.
Grammy-nominated UK producer Duke Dumont will also perform on the evening. Mr Dumont, who recently produced and co-wrote Katy Perry’s ‘Swish Swish’ and remixed ‘The Man’ by The Killers, has amassed more than one billion combined streams across his flurry of releases to date.
One Day brings the number of concerts confirmed for the Marquee to more than a dozen.
Last week it was announced that renowned songwriter and three-time Grammy winner Kris Kristofferson play the venue on June 23, with tickets going on sale on Thursday.
Tickets are already on sale for Aslan, Nathan Carter, Toto, Versatile, The Academic, the RTÉ Concert Orchestra with Jenny Greene, Tash Sultana, Tommy Tiernan, Christy Moore and David Gray.
The concerts are taking place between June 08 and July 07, at The Showgrounds in Ballintemple.
