CORK’S two Dancing with the Stars hopefuls will dance another day after the latest casualty of the show was TV fashion stylist Darren Kennedy.

Cork’s Peter Stringer and Young Offenders actress Demi Isaac Oviawe survived the vote yet again.

Last night, contestants were asked to perform a number to a tune that had a personal significance to them, and Demi revealed the poignant reason she danced a rumba to a song that has great meaning to her.

“My dad Joe, he died of complications from a brain tumor,” Demi said of her father’s passing in 2016.

“The song that I’ve chosen is ‘Dance with my Father’ by Luther Vandross. He would play it in the car so it’s just one of those songs that comes to mind when I think of my dad.

“He was our rock, there’s no words to describe how great my Dad was,” she said.

“Your father lives on in you and I think tonight you’ve created another memory and that’ll be on film,” judge Loraine Barry said.
