Cocaine seizure made in Cobh

A MAN has been questioned about a seizure of suspected cocaine in Cobh.
The seizure was made during a search of a house in Barrymore Avenue in Cobh yesterday evening.
Gardai went to the house at around 6pm and were assisted by the Southern Region Dog Unit in a search which unearthed a discovery of suspected cocaine.
Gardai have provisionally valued the haul at €10,500.
A man in his 20s was arrested and taken to Cobh Garda Station. He was later released without charge and a file is being prepared for the DPP.
It comes just days after another suspected cocaine seizure on Pope's Quay, worth an estimated €35,000.
The two seizures are not related.
