The Metropole Hotel has unveiled the latest part of its recent multi-million euro refurbishment - The Snug at The MET bar.
The attraction is being pitched as a private area for 10 guests or more to enjoy a night out with book clubs and other similar organisations being targeted.
The Snug was launched by author, Louise O’Neill who will be the ‘Writer in Residence’ for January.
Louise is the author of Only Ever Yours, Asking for It, Almost Love and The Surface Breaks. Louise is originally from Clonakilty in West Cork.
General Manager of the Metropole Hotel, Roger Russell said: “We are very proud of the beautiful Snug at the Met. It really is a cosy corner that people visiting the hotel just love to pop into.
The Metropole Hotel is part of the Trigon Hotel Group, which has 334 guest rooms across three hotels in Cork. The group comprises of the Cork International Hotel, The Metropole Hotel and the Cork Airport Hotel.
