Weather warning issued for Cork tomorrow as Storm Diana arrives

A severe Orange-alert weather warning has been issued for Cork as Storm Diana is expected to hit the west coast at 6am tomorrow.

Severe south and southwest winds associated with the storm will reach 65 to 80 km/h with gusts of 110 to 130 km/h. 

The weather will be accompanied by high seas with a risk of coastal flooding.

The Orange Alert warning will remain in effect until midday tomorrow. and covers cork, Kerry and Waterford.
