Thousands throng the streets of Cork for St Patrick's Day parade

following a week of rain and weather warning, the sun came out early on Sunday, giving the city the perfect day to enjoy the entertainment.
Crowds packed to city centre route to enjoy the floats, dancing and performance of the 2,000 participants. Olympian and proud Corkman Rob Heffernan led proceedings as Grand Marshal while Lord Mayor Mick Finn took part on an electric.
