Rugby legend gets the boot from ‘Dancing With The Stars’

MUNSTER legend Peter Stringer got the boot from RTÉ’s Dancing With the Stars after losing a dance-off to Fair City actress Clelia Murphy last night.
Speaking after his loss, Mr Stringer said his fear of dancing disappeared over his time on the show.
“It was so far out of my comfort zone and an environment I’m used to.
“It took a while to settle in and become comfortable, but you know what, I enjoyed every minute of it,” he said.
He thanked his wife, Debbie O’Leary, for her support, and said he would be keeping every outfit from the show.
Mr Stringer and his partner Ksenia Zsikhotska scored just 20 points, the lowest of the night, for their American Smooth dance to ‘New York, New York’.
This put the pair into the dance-off against Ms Murphy, with the judges opting to save the Fair City actress.
