Cork’s finest TV series The Young Offenders is looking for fresh talent for their vibrant and funny mock portrayal of life in Cork.

Rumour has it that Jock and Connor are looking for new friends and foes in the next series of the show and producers have released a casting call to anyone who thinks they have something special to bring to the humorous TV show.

By following this link, interested actors are asked to fill out a number of details before submitting a five minute long introduction video, followed by a two minute clip performing a scene.

The demo acting clip should be two minutes long and performed in the auditionees own accent.

The Young Offenders, which is based on the 2016 IFTA nominated independent film of the same name, has had great success since the first season of the show was broadcast to audiences across Ireland and the UK with a number of the show’s stars going on to further success.

The show’s bad boy Billy Murphy played by Shane Casey just finished a number of nights in the Cork Opera House with a show he wrote and performed in ‘Wet Paint’ while Chris Walley, who plays Connor’s right-hand man Jock, picked up Best Supporting Actor at the prestigious Olivier Awards last week.
