Man arrested after lorry crashes into sea

Gardaí arrested a man early Monday morning after a lorry had crashed on the N25 and entered the sea at Kinsale Beg.

The driver, who is in his fifties was taken to Dungarvan Garda Station on suspicion of driving while under the influence shortly before 2 AM.

No injuries were sustained during the incident and one lane has been closed off with temporary traffic lights in place.

Gardaí are currently investigating the incident.
