The hit TV show Young Offenders returns to Leeside to hold open auditions tomorrow for their new series.

A casting call has been made for aspiring actors to audition for a part in the upcoming second series of the popular show.

The show producers Vico Films have said that while they would like people who look a similar age to the main characters Conor, Jock, Siobhan and Linda, that shouldn’t put people off from attending the audition.

The auditions take place tomorrow at The Metropole Hotel on MacCurtain Street between 10am and 4 PM.

As Vico Films get ready to start filming series two of the RTÉ and BBC Three show, they told The Echo what they are looking for at the auditions: “Don’t over-rehearse, we just want to get to know you so if there are mistakes leave them in, a lot of the time those are the best bits.”

Tomorrow's open casting is for those that haven’t filled out the audition form online. On the Young Offenders website, they reassure those that filled out the online application that they do not need to attend the auditions at The Metropole.

Anyone who misses tomorrow's auditions can still apply online up until Friday at http://www.theyoungoffenders.com/casting
