School bus involved in collision in Durrus
A school bus collided with a car this morning. No children have been injured in the collision while the driver of the car has been taken to hospital.

A collision between a car and a school bus occurred three kilometres outside of Ardoginna, on the Durrus to Goleen Road at around 8:30 AM this morning.

Gardaí suspect that it appears to be caused by human error, with no reports of flooding or any other issues in the area.

There was a big response from the emergency services and no children appear to have suffered any injuries but may be suffering from shock.

The driver of the car has been taken to hospital for medical treatment but their injuries are believed to be non-life threatening.

The road currently remains closed while Gardaí examine the scene of the collision but have said that the incident is not as bad as they first thought.
