The 2018 Cork Rose Erinn O’Connell and the Cork Rose Centre organising team are continuing the search for this year’s Cork Rose.

Denis Griffin, coordinator of the Cork Rose Centre said applications are still open for those who would like to be part of this year's selection, which will again take place at the Clayton Hotel, Silver Springs on June 7 and June 8.

Cork Rose Erinn O'Connell said she has had a jam-packed year full of exciting activities, events and adventures. In addition to local events, she visited Belarus in February with some fellow Roses and escorts and even went onto to participate in the St. Patricks Day parade in New York in March.

She described her year as “unforgettable". "The friends that I have made, the places I have been and the great causes I have been able to support as the Cork Rose has made this an experience of a lifetime.”

Any young lady aged 18 to 28 who would like to become the 2019 Cork Rose should fill out the Cork Rose application form today at, email or call/text/WhatsApp 0871474100 for more information.

Alternatively, come along to one of the information evenings at The Hibernian Hotel in Mallow on Wednesday, May 8 at 8pm and The Imperial Hotel, South Mall on Thursday, May 9 at 8pm.
