Man charged with stealing staff wallets from a Cork fast food restaurant

Gardaí have arrested and charged a man in his 50s in relation to a burglary at a fast food restaurant on Patrick’s Street that occurred on May 11.
Shortly after 4:30pm, a man entered the staff area of the restaurant, stole two wallets and left the scene.
Following an investigation by Gardaí in Anglesea Street, a man in his 50s was arrested yesterday.
He was detained under Section 4 of the Criminal Justice Act 1984 at Bridewell Garda Station and has since been charged to appear before Cork City District Court this morning.
