Crowds gather to see filming of latest Young Offenders series

THE cast and crew of The Young Offenders had plenty of people to cheer them on as they set about filming the new series of the hit TV show.

Crowds of adults and schoolchildren were keen to grab every vantage point they could find to watch the latest shoot for the RTE comedy on Dublin Hill today.

The Young Offenders movie and television series has gained legendary status on Leeside by showcasing the city as it follows the shenanigans of northsiders, Jock and Conor, as they find  mischief at every turn.

The show, which stars Chris Walley as Jock O’Keeffe, Alex Murphy as Conor McSweeney and PJ Gallagher as the boys’ principal, is set to enter its second season this year.
