Search continues for missing Bandon man last seen on Monday

The search is continuing for a missing man last seen in Carrigaline on Monday night.

33-year-old Andrew Willis was last seen after leaving a friend's house in the Carrigaline/Drake's Pool area on Monday night.

He did not turn up for work the following morning.

In a statement to The Echo, gardaí said that “searches are continuing and enquiries are ongoing”.

Friends of Mr Willis, including Bandon Rugby Club, shared his photo and details about his last known movements online over the last few days in a bid to find him.

He is a member of Bandon Rugby Club.

A search of the area around Carrigaline and Drake's Pool was carried out on Thursday, involving the Coastguard, the Civil Defence, gardaí and the Mallow Search and Rescue. Friends also joined in the search.

He is described as being 6ft tall, with dark red hair, brown/green eyes and an athletic build.
