Witnesses to alleged assault urged to come forward

An appeal for witnesses has been issued by the Gardaí in relation to an alleged assault of a young woman in Bishopstown on Sunday, June 2.

The incident is said to have occurred on Model Farm Road shortly after 3am on Sunday last.

The woman in her 20’s, was near one of the bus stops along the road when the alleged assault took place.

Gardaí are appealing for anyone who was in the area, particularly drivers who may have dashcam footage, between 2.30am and 3.15am to get in contact with the authorities.
