Cork firefighters spend four hours battling Blackpool blaze

Firefighters in Cork spent hours battling a blaze in Blackpool last night.
Cork City Fire Service received a call at 12:35 this morning to put out a fire on Redforge Road in Blackpool.
Five units between the headquarters on Angelsea Street, Ballyvolane and Ballincollig attended an industrial derelict building behind the Bingo Hall on Redforge Road, spending almost seven hours tackling the blaze.

A Munster Fire Brigade spokesperson said that the last unit to leave the scene did so at 07:46 AM.
While an investigation is still ongoing into the cause of the fire, Gardaí are not treating it as suspicious at this time.
