Appeals for witnesses to Ballydehob street fight

Two arrests have been made following an incident on the August Bank Holiday weekend in Ballydehob.

According to Gardaí, a number of people were assaulted in a fight on the main street of the town on Saturday night, August 3, and Sunday morning, August 4.

Two people have been arrested in relation to the incident and are currently in Garda custody at Bantry Garda Station.

Gardaí in Bantry have appealed for witnesses to the disturbance and assault which occurred between 11.45pm Saturday night and 12.30am Sunday morning.

Gardaí are appealing for anybody who may have witnessed the incidents or anybody driving through the village who may have witnessed it and may have dashcam footage to contact Bantry Garda station at 027 20860 or the Garda Confidential Line 1800 666 111.
