Improvement works will interrupt water supply to homes and businesses in  Glasheen, Ballyphehane and Togher

Irish Water is carrying out upgrade works in the Togher Road, Glasheen area of Cork on Tuesday evening.

As a result, they are warning of a disruption to the supply from 7pm to 11.30pm.

The areas affected will include: McDonagh Road, Connolly Green, Killeenreendowney Avenue, Plunkett Road, Pearse Place, Fr. Dominic Road, Pouladuff Road, Charles Daly Road, Edward Walsh Road, Patrick Trahy Road, Boston Park, Ard Manning Avenue, Rose Lawn, Togher Road, Sycamore Place, Hazel Road, Elm Road, Cherry Tree Road, Clashduv Road, Whitebean Road, Bothar Mac Piarais, Glendalough Park, Fairy Ville Lawn, Fairy Lawn, Lough Road, Lough Park, Brookfield Lane, Brookfield Park, Leafdale, St. Joseph’s Park, Hillside Drive, Earlwood Estate, Glendale Drive, Glendale Grove, Hillside Road, Tara Court, Glasheen Road, Hartlands Avenue, School Avenue, Glasheen Park, Kilcrea Park, Lima Lawn, Vicars Road, Lapp’s Court and surrounding areas.

During these works, homes and businesses in the above areas area may be impacted by reduced water pressure and water outages.

Following these improvement works water supply may take two to three hours to return as water refills the network.
