The latest RTB rent index released this morning has shown that rents for Cork city increased by 2.2% over the last quarter.
Rent went from €1133 in the fourth quarter of 2018 to €1158 in the start of 2019, with a year on year increase of 7.1%.
Across the county, rents increased by 3.1% from €1021 to €1053 in the last quarter with a year on year change of 9.9%.
Here is the average cost of rent for each of the areas of Cork city and county for the first quarter of 2019.
