The Guide Dogs in Cork are having an Open Day this weekend

The Irish Guide Dogs for the Blind is hosting an Open Day in Cork on Saturday.
This is an opportunity to discover how they collectively work with clients, volunteers and supporters to change the lives of the visually impaired and families of children with autism.
It promises to be a fun-filled day with something for all the family including entertainment for the children, an opportunity to view the Training Centre, meet staff and dogs, watchdog demonstrations and browse the farmers market.
The Open Day runs from 12pm to 4pm at the Guide Dogs headquarters on the Model Farm Road.
The cost of entry is €5 per person or €10 per family. Tickets available at the gate on the day.
No pet dogs or parking allowed on site but shuttle buses will be running to and from CIT every fifteen minutes.
