Cork family wins a nice scratchcard prize on a ticket they bought at the Bon Secours Hospital

A family in Cork city claimed a €75,000 scratchcard win at the Lottery headquarters today.
The winning All Cash Platinum ticket was purchased in the Bon Secours Hospital.
Other big winners making claims today included a jubilant Lotto syndicate from Lloyds Pharmacy in Castletroy in Limerick who collected a €60,099 prize which they won on Wednesday 14th August.
Seven of the 20 person syndicate made their way to Lotto HQ to pick up their prize and they celebrated in style despite the fact that they missed out on the €10 million jackpot on offer that night by one solitary number.
One of the lucky Limerick syndicate, Rebecca Ryan said: “To come to visit the National Lottery’s Winners Room is probably a once in a lifetime moment which we will cherish forever. We might have narrowly missed out on the €10 million jackpot but this is still a very special moment for us all to celebrate together."
"Since we got the news last week, we have been absolutely buzzing with all of the excitement and now that we’ve got a taste for winning, we’re hoping that we get back to Lotto HQ very soon to claim an even bigger prize,” she said.
The winning Quick Pick ticket was sold at the Supervalu store at the Castletroy Shopping Centre on the outskirts of Limerick City.
